Oh my God!~ It’s my new favorite thing! I’m completely serious. This is my most favorite stop motion clip of all time so far. This looks fantastic!! Where have you been? Making these clips?

I bow before you. I am in awe! Tell more, tell more! Where’s more about the project, Shrewmole? What equipment did you go with?

omg, I’m seriously jonesing to shot my project out of doors after seeing this! But I’d need an enclosure somewhere safe.

    OMG! YOU! m..m

Hi Shelley, thanks so much. Your excitement is so encouraging :)
These are very recent attempts at animating again after a long long break away from it. I’ve been taking classes and trying to figure out future means of employment, so haven’t had much time for it.

About animating outside - it is so much fun, though a little uncomfortable since you have to basically get down on the ground. I felt like a kid again, playing in the yard, wearing my blue apron and singing to myself - sitting in the same place for like an hour. The neighbors are going to start to wonder about me if I keep doing it. Well, unfortunately my landlady came and mowed the lawn, so no more lovely tall grass.

All I used for equipment was my Canon camera w/Nikon lens, on one of those tiny portable tripods. I was able to get a little video assist by scrolling through images on the camera if I forgot which way the antennae were twitching.

Oh, sounds sheer heaven and looks it too. Good luck with all of it. Best of luck to you.

Yes, this is a perfect little film and a perfect use of stop-motion. I think you’re incredibly talented and I hope you find time to do more!
