It’s a peaceful yet active way to be out among nature and fellow living creatures. How often do you ever just sit and stare at one location for half and hour, or an hour, or longer, while people carry on rushing by around you?
I’ve even had some interesting encounters because of it. I met an artist named Abdellah RamRam while doing the Back Bay station sketches, and it was very inspiring hearing him speak about his work. You can actually hear a online interview here:
